Thanks for the responses.Nurse Practitioners always work under the supervision of a doctor, so even though she comes back from vacation this week, the doc has already interfered with my prescription and will be keeping an eye on it.What I wanted to know is if it's worth going off the Cytomel for ten days to get my numbers back into whatever range they are looking for.I don't give a hoot about numbers myself, I just know I feel good.The site that said the tests are worthless while on any thyroid meds also said that it doesn't affect most people to go off it for that long. But I feel bad when I forget my dose just once.Many of you said that TSH doesn't mean anything but is there any med reference that I can take in that says that.He's the old line by the book doctor and he's messed with me before on my bio-indentical hormone prescription.Thanks,Pam>> Why don't you just wait until your nurse practitioner comes back from > vacation?
