I tried swapping once and it didn't work for me, I have decided to stay permanently on T3 and have given away my stash of good Natural that I stocked up with when the shortage was on. Some people change back successfully, most of us try at least once! Many of us decide that they do best on T3 and stay there. Guest guest
I used to take Armour and Naturethroid, they worked great but I kept having to take more and more and more or the symptoms would return. When I found out about RT3 the light went on as to why my symptoms kept returning even after dosing up. Finally at 4 gr. I did the tests recommended here and found out my RT3 ratio was messed up. I can only speak for myself, but I'm not going back to NT or Armour, I've cleared now on T3 and I know that I'll end up with the same RT3 ratio issues again and I've already wasted 2 years on T3/T4, I don't properly convert and I'm not willing to get sick again. I have hashi's so I have no choice but to remain on thyroid meds the rest of my life. Best luck to you in your journey back to health;-)<<Posted by: "carolglack" carolglack@... carolglackWed Aug 11, 2010 5:51 pm (PDT)I am wondering what - if any - advantages there are to switching to a natural t3/t4 combo after clearing RT3.
