Guest guest
Hi I am new to this group and have not had a chance to go through all the different topics, so I appologise if this question has been addressed. My husband just got his blood tests back and will have an appt with dr next week. With this Dr. one MUST go in prepared and be able to ask questions as she is a bit scattered and hyper and you leave there with more questions than when you arrived! So i need your help please. Anyway, his blood test shows an out of range (high) Rt3. They did not do the cortisol test that was ordered but did the one time, overall average and it was bottom/in range. His cholesterol was sky high. TSH was top/within range. Does not have Hashi's but DEF every hypo symptom you can imagine, even down to NO outter eyebrows. I am pretty sure they will put him on straight T3. When I went on compounded thyroid last april within 6 weeks my cholesterol dropped 54 points with no dietary change. On straight T3, will this happen as well? We want to treat the REAL problem not the symptoms if at all possible. Thank you for your time, in advance. Guest guest
WOW!!! , thank you so much for your response. I told my husband about your results he was, in a word- amazed!! He feels so much more prepared for this visit knowing that he doesn't HAVE to go on C meds and not treat the real prob! Thanks again! > > Hi I am new to this group and have not had a chance to go through all the different topics, so I appologise if this question has been addressed. > > My husband just got his blood tests back and will have an appt with dr next week.
