Trying to interpret results- help please

I am trying to guide a friend in the right direction who is having thyroid

difficulty. Here are his numbers:

Free T4 1.15 (.58-1.64)

TSH .01 (.30-4.20)

Free T3 3.72 (2.50-3.90)

Rev T3 28 (11-32)

He is on armour 1 grain and he still isn't feeling great and I'm just trying to

see if T3 only might be appropriate for him. Is his RT3 burdern 13 (sorry

confused w/ the conversions)?? Also his iron panel looks good.

Yes, I also get a T3/RT3 ratio of 13 (anything under 20 indicates an RT3

problem).

Glad his iron panel is good (70-90 ferritin, % saturation of 35-45 are needed

for good thyroid utilization).

Adrenal function needs to be checked before starting T3-only. You may have
