Moderator Nick has said " I've increased slightly for the winter and expect to

drop again in the summer. "

from the second-to-last paragraph in his post:

Nick had a great post with more thoughts on this subject, here's the link:

The rest of the posts in that thread are also very interesting.

Thanks Margery, sometimes when I've been hypo I forget stuff or even think I was dreaming when something comes to mind. It's nice to know my mind was somewhat still intact even when I wasn't feeling 100% LOL.<<Posted by: "Margery__W" m.escoffery@... m.escoffery@...Wed Aug 18, 2010 3:10 pm (PDT)Moderator Nick has said "I've increased slightly for the winter and expect to drop again in the summer."from the second-to-last paragraph in his post: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/27504 Nick had a great post with more thoughts on this subject, here's the link:http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/24937The rest of the posts in that thread are also very interesting.>> I finally cleared and am now taking 75 mcg T3, feeling good with no > hypo symptoms. Kem you remembered that one OK! I've read a bunch of posts from people who had

to increase their thyroid dose a little in the winter.

It is interesting that Nick did not have to decrease his dose this summer, as

he'd expected to, looks like this isn't an entirely predictable thing for

everyone.

It may be that I am still settling on my final dose having cleared 12

months ago. I still have resistance from other causes so need a lot of

T3.

I have finally started losing weight though :-) which means I am close

now, it will be interesting to see if it goes up in the winter.
