3/ Iron/Ferritin

a) test early am fasting

B) NO meds or supps until AFTER blood taken

c) NO Iron supps for minimum 5 days (some sources say 7 days)

d) some sources also say NO Vit C supps for minimum 5 days (some say 7 days even

better) as well

e) some sources say no B12 supps for 5 days as well

f) NO high Iron foods or drinks for at least 3 days (5 days is even better)

As far as I know, raising T3 in the pre-test time should not adversely affect

the results of an iron test.

My own experience is that I have not had any adverse T3-effects from stopping

iron supps for 5 days.
