Thyroid Results - Hypo?

Hi,

I was told I should post my thyroid results here. I normally post on the NTH

Adrenals Group. I do not have my rT3 yet, I have been told that will take 6

weeks - eek!

Total T4 - 76 Range 59-154

TSH 3.05 Range .27-4.2

Free T4 14.4 Range 12.0-22.0

Free T3 4.6 Range 3.1-6.8

Thyroid Antibodies 66.6 range 0-115 = negative

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 26.4 less than 34 is negative

I have been taking HC for three months and started having high cortisol symptoms

last week - tired, high blood sugar, pressure behind eyes and some thyroid ( or

so I think ) symptoms such as carpel tunnel, tingling in arms and bloating (

although that could also be a cortisol thing )

I lowered my HC does to 20mg and that seems to have given me a little more

energy, but now I have intermittent low / high symptoms. 10-7.5-5-2.5 was too

much...I was just so tired and out of it on that dose.

But I do feel a little odd so I thinking it is time to treat Thyroid. I am not

taking anything for it and my Dr. just gave me Nutri Thyro Complex...which has

licorice root in it and I wonder if that is a good idea given I am taking HC?

My current dosing schedule is 7.5-7.5-5

I also take Vita C 2000mg, Vit B Complex 2x per day, Vit B12 sublingual,

Megnesium 500mg per day.

He does not think I am hypo...just said that my TSH was high and indicated that

something might be happening.

Any ideas?
