Subject: Two Questions: Phone Consult Cost and labs recommendedTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, August 27, 2010, 9:39 AM Could someone tell me what the cost is for a phone consult with Val, please? Is it by the minute or a flat rate? I am needing to do this but need to know the cost ahead of time. Also, I'm planning on labs soon and am wondering what I should definitely include. I'm planning on ferritin, FT4 and FT3. Do I need the total T4, total T3 to know if I the T3 is pooling? Thank you! in CA
Guest guest
Thanks, Dawn. That is very reasonable when I spent $1000 on a Dr. one time who offered no help at all. Margery, Nick or anyone else, can you answer my question about labs I should get? Thanks so much. in CA > > > From: mfamilyfarm > Subject: Two Questions: Phone Consult Cost and labs recommended > To: RT3_T3 > Date: Friday, August 27, 2010, 9:39 AM > > > Â > > > > Could someone tell me what the cost is for a phone consult with Val, please? Guest guest
Add an iron panel with a result showing % saturation. Dawn had VERY good idea, if you're going to have a phone consult with Moderator , you can type a message on the same page you're setting up the appointment. There you can ask VAL which tests she thinks you should get. Val most likely has a list of results she thinks it would be worthwhile to go over during the phone consult. (For example, I don't know if Val would want a TSH done or not.) It's the FT3 that shows pooling, if present. > > > > > > From: mfamilyfarm > > Subject: Two Questions: Phone Consult Cost and labs recommended > > To: RT3_T3 > > Date: Friday, August 27, 2010, 9:39 AM > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > Could someone tell me what the cost is for a phone consult with Val, please? Guest guest
, it would be the FREE t3 and t4, not the total you would want. :-) Yes, I think Val likes to see TSH because she can tell if the body is properly utilizing the t3 or not. At least that's what I've seen her comment before. It also can show if the body wants more t3 or not by how suppressed it is. But I agree to just ask her in the comments box like Margery suggested. Also, I know the mods want a full iron panel now, not just ferritin. Kathleen > > Could someone tell me what the cost is for a phone consult with Val, please? Is it by the minute or a flat rate?
