Guest guest
I would try to sweitch to T3 onyl, and wait a month and retest iron wiht a 5 day iron fast, It is vital to knwo where you r iron is, and these labs look on the high siode no matter where ferritin is. so give the iron time to settle in oyur body and retest the iron labs wiht the proper time off iron and maybe wiht some T3 you won;t have to take a bunch more. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Ft4 1.2 (0,8-1.8) > T4 total 7.4 (4.5-12.5) > T3 total 93 (76-181) > Ft3 319 (230-420) > Rt3 32 (11-32) > > Sodium 137 (135-146) > potassim 4.0 (3.5-5.5) > > Iron 125 (40-175) > TIBC 317 (250-450) > Transferen Saturation 39% (15-50%) > Ferritin 43 (10-232) > > Renin 0.57 (0.25-5.82) > Aldosterone pending > > Notes: 1) I took the thyroid medication in the morning. Guest guest
My solution and only solution for constipation issues is, along with fiber, powdered vitamin C dosed between 10-20 grams first thing in the AM. Vit C I believe helps with Fe absorption. Vit C also is heavily concentrated in adrenals...I made inferences from reading the material about ascorbate at http://www.vitamincfoundation.org/surefire.shtml and orthomed.com > > Ft4 1.2 (0,8-1.8) > T4 total 7.4 (4.5-12.5) > T3 total 93 (76-181) > Ft3 319 (230-420) > Rt3 32 (11-32) > > Sodium 137 (135-146) > potassim 4.0 (3.5-5.5) > > Iron 125 (40-175) > TIBC 317 (250-450) > Transferen Saturation 39% (15-50%) > Ferritin 43 (10-232) > > Renin 0.57 (0.25-5.82) > Aldosterone pending > > Notes: 1) I took the thyroid medication in the morning. Guest guest
What if iron is low after a month? then I cannot raise T3 and i will feel hypo. what will happen if i stay with NTH while raising iron? > > Ft4 1.2 (0,8-1.8) > > T4 total 7.4 (4.5-12.5) > > T3 total 93 (76-181) > > Ft3 319 (230-420) > > Rt3 32 (11-32) > > > > Sodium 137 (135-146) > > potassim 4.0 (3.5-5.5) > > > > Iron 125 (40-175) > > TIBC 317 (250-450) > > Transferen Saturation 39% (15-50%) > > Ferritin 43 (10-232) > > > > Renin 0.57 (0.25-5.82) > > Aldosterone pending > > > > Notes: 1) I took the thyroid medication in the morning. Guest guest
Val, The adrenal group is not open yet. since you are here, i want to ask you an adrenal question: I wasn't feeling well on 40-45mg HC until I raised NTH. I lowered NTH after consulting you because i had palp two months ago. I stayed at low NTH for a month. Once I raised NTH, my hypoglycemia was less severe, my needs for HC decreased, i slept better. I am now at home on short term disability. So i decreased HC to 35mg without difficulty. but then I raised NTH again trying to find the right dose. Two days later I found myself needing more HC and last night I had 47.5mg total. I had adrenaline rushes all night, barely slept. Today, I lowered NTH. My question is, even though i did not take temp often and don't have a record to show you, my sense is that raising thyroid will require more HC everytime we raise. The mod in the adrenal group said once the temp is stable, I do not need to increase HC while raising thyroid. but increasing thyroid seems to strain the adrenal in my experience and may require simultaneous increase in HC. Am i correct? > > Ft4 1.2 (0,8-1.8) > > T4 total 7.4 (4.5-12.5) > > T3 total 93 (76-181) > > Ft3 319 (230-420) > > Rt3 32 (11-32) > > > > Sodium 137 (135-146) > > potassim 4.0 (3.5-5.5) > > > > Iron 125 (40-175) > > TIBC 317 (250-450) > > Transferen Saturation 39% (15-50%) > > Ferritin 43 (10-232) > > > > Renin 0.57 (0.25-5.82) > > Aldosterone pending > > > > Notes: 1) I took the thyroid medication in the morning.
