Anyone try this combination and is less hypo? Idoral will promote T4 production, not what you want when clearing RT3 If you are hypo on 50 then why not take more?? The only thing idoral will do is promote output from your own thyroid, both T3 and T4 Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
HI Nick, this is an issue for me, although I am on NDT only at the moment but considering T3 to fix a RT3 problem. I have NO thyroid due to cancer surgery and am also low on iodine (a typical combination!) so am taking Iodoral 50mg for the last 2 mo and do feel better on it. I will take another 2 mo then start decreasing some but may always need to take it. I've read almost all of the RT3-thyroid.com site and can tell that this is a potential issue. I'd like to know what you would do in my situation? i.e. low iodine level, poss. related to thyroid cancer, no thyroid of my own to produce and taking NDT but having RT3 issues. Thanks much! Guest guest
Low iodine and lwo thyroid are synonymous! Thyroid hormones are MADE of iodine. If oyu are takign enough thyroid you will be getting plenty of iodine. Yes people feel better on it btu if they are abel to raise their T3 levels they wil feel better too. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > HI Nick, this is an issue for me, although I am on NDT only at the moment but considering T3 to fix a RT3 problem. Guest guest
My problem is that my FT3 always runs high and my iodine level was low. I don't think I am taking enough thyroid yet but the docs won't raise me because I always run the high T3?! Is this the evidence of RT3? It is a dilemma.. Thanks, Michele > >> > >> > >>> I have been on t3 well over a year now. I would think I am free of T4. Guest guest
My last RT3 was 32 (11-32 mg/dl). I am still uncertain about the Iodoral's affect on my labs. Thanks for any thoughts on this.
