Guest guest
Val, I have definitely determined that the T3 only that I'm taking (Mylan) makes me hungry. I don't really remember whether the Paddock T3 make me hungry, but this stuff absolutely does. I also have this edema, which I don't know if it could be coming from this or not. It could also be coming from the afib med I use for afib episodes. I've thought it could also be coming from an as yet unrecognized kidney problem. My question is does anyone else have or know of this med making people hungry? Roni <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Guest guest
WHen T3 first started improving my metabolic rate HUNGER was the first thing I felt. Starving hunger! I was so used ot never feelign hungry I really noticed it. I believe this is probably what you are noticing. Higher metabolism calls for mor ecalories and is a sign you are actulaly burning some now. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Val, I have definitely determined that the T3 only that I'm taking (Mylan) makes me hungry. Guest guest
OMG! If my metabolism is actually starting to work, does that mean that I will lose weight? I started another 5 mcg at lunch today which brings me to 75 mcg. How would I know if I was pooling? How much can I take without it affecting my heart (I have afib)? <>Roni Immortality exists! Guest guest
T3 does NOT cause A-Fib. In fact it can prevent it! http://ats.ctsnetjournals.org/cgi/content/full/annts;61/5/1323 I would just SLOWLY raise ti till your pulse is good say 80-85 for most us gals that are not real fit. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ OMG! Guest guest
If raising the T3 stops the Afib I will be Sooooooo Happpppy! Right now my resting pulse is 72. It has been as low as 60 and as high as 80. Of course during an afib attack everything goes nuts upper and lower BP, heart rate, EKG, everything. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Guest guest
Keep an open mind too about what the mods were telling you about how low cortisol could well be causing your afibs. Definitely worth looking into--it's another area, just like T3 treatment, where doctors are backward and close minded. Saliva cortisol tests are the best. I've only been able to get off the couch due to testing aldosterone and taking Florinef from information I learned on the adrenals site, NO thanks to any doctor, despite standing BP of 60/45, dizziness on standing, excessive thirst. Their tests? Stress EKG, Echocardiogram, Labs. Did they include one simple obvious blood test to cover the symptoms? No, aldosterone wasn't even on their radar! So, a needless year of of suffering and complete incapacity. Kerry > > > > > > > > > > > > > Val, > Â > I have definitely determined that the T3 only that I'm taking (Mylan) makes me hungry.
