Guest guest
I shoot for MIDDLE of the luteal ranges. As I have no cycle this is an all th eitme range for me. I HATE the post meno ranges as those wil not keep any woman healthy. This si why ther eis so much osteoporosis and AGING diseases in women! They odntl have post malo testosterone ranges! LOL Actually they do have much lower ranges for men as they age and i have to doubt they are healthy either. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > I really feel like I'm so OT with these questions but I also realize that if the hormones are not in tune with the whole thyroid picture that things just don't work well. I spoke with you just last week about how everything seems to be in tune with me now but that I continue to have lingering back and joint pains. Well I recently stopped testing my hormones through saliva and took your recommendation to get tested through the blood. Come to find out I was very low in both areas. And low progesterone from what I understand can cause these lingering pains. So I am now trying to tweek my doses. My question to you since you DO know so much about the hormones and all is what levels do you shoot to maintain your P and E? My Dr. says E should be in the 50-100 range. You looked at my levels which were 96 and said that the top range you rely on is up to 135 and that I could take mine up a bit more. With the P, my Dr. is saying keep it in the 10-20 range which I have hear > d is best to keep it in the upper range of these numbers. Where do you try to maintain your levels?? I SO trust your advice over any Dr. out there! > > Thanks! and sorry I ventured off a bit... > Cindy > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
I have been menopausal for over five years now(52) and on BHRT but always tested via saliva. I will have to research these luteal ranges and make sure I am good there. Yeah, I agree about the post meno ranges...hello, that's what we're running from! I have also had problems in the past with my T. I am now giving myself injections and it has proven to be the most beneficial. I had tried everything else. And yes, most definitely men should have their T levels tested. I only wish I could convince my own Hubby. He's much more grouchy than he used to be and I know that it's most likely low T. I'm thinking that with more focus lately on the Anti-Aging they will establish better ranges for all of us. Thanks for you comments! Guest guest
Val, I so agree with you about the osteoporosis, as well as heart disease, and so much more. i see women my age who are not doing the BHRT and they look 10 years older than me and are on tons of med to aleiviate a host of symptoms their docs don't have answers for. Gotta have my BHRT! Sharon Remember! Dolls are people, too....have you hugged your dolls today?
