Guest guest
Hi, I guess I did have this. I just went and rechecked my Kaiser records. These are from about May, I believe. TOTAL IRON BINDING CAPACITY 345 228-428 ug/dL IRON 85 35-160 ug/dL TOTAL IRON BINDING CAPACITY, UNSATURATED 260 92-365 ug/dL TRANSFERRIN % SATURATION 25 15-55 % What do you think? I have no idea, other than it all looks in range. But from what I've read, does having high reverse T3 make it hard for your body to hold on to iron? Thanks again for any input. NdnQ oh poo, one more quick question. Should I worry that the doc. called in the generic for cytomel, levoxy something or another? She thought it would be less expensive, since insurance won't cover. Is it better to start on the generic or the real stuff? Thanks again....

We are looking for % saturation to be 35% to 45% Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Thanks Nick! That helps a lot. I will continue taking the iron. I'm supposed to be picking up my first prescription for the cytomel this next week, but the Kaiser guys keep trying to give me the generic. Should I be worried about that or just go for it? I'd had my doctor specifically ask for the brand name, but Kaiser filled it generic. I called to ask them to order the real thing, so, they canceled the generic and then, to my utter amazement, reordered the generic. Thanks! NdnQ > > >% SATURATION 25 15-55 % > > > >What do you think?
