T3 is not a drug it si a hormone. Thus is has NO side effects BUT this

being saidf you can have adverse reacitons to it if your body cannto

tuilize thyroid properly such as when oyu have low iron or lwo

cortiosl. These are NOT side effects in the known description of side

effects. Too much T3 can cause high pulse and anxiety and weioght loss,

too lwo T3 causes high cholesterol, weakened heart, weakend lungs

weakened adrenals, over weight, high BP, shall I go on? Long before you

get SERIOUS side effect fom too much T3 you will notice it is too much

and reduce the dose. I cannot understand why doctors do nto understand

this. It si NOT speed, it is a natuiral hotrmone thta is needed for our

bodies to function properly.

Since all prescription medicine has side

effects, I wonder what are or can be the side effects from this

medication? Can it cause other problems in other areas? I know the

cholesterol meds for example can cause cataracts and other problems,

and just want to see if cytomel does have any adverse affects?

I've been arguing this point with doctors for years. It's incredible that so many of them just don't or won't understand thyroid and how things work.

I seem to have a little of both symptoms, low cholesterol, low blood pressure, weight loss (cannot gain weight), weakened adrenals, etc...........well i'm glad to know all you have told me and that it doesn't have those kind of side affects, thank you thank you
