Guest guest
Hello, I am new to the group and experience what I call the sleepy shakes. Sometimes I get this tired feeling with a jittery/shaky sensation. It does pass and as far as I know my adrenals are OK, but my ferritin was at 20. I took ferrous sulfate off an on (it irritated my stomach)and got it up to 42. My doc says this number is normal and to just take a women's one a day vitamin. I have been taking 25 mcg Cytomel, one and a quarter a day, and my free T3 was 298 (range 230-420), Free T4 0.2 (range 0.8-1.8), and TSH 0.14. I felt like I could sleep 10-12 hrs a day, so my doc had me raise the Cytomel to 50-75mcg a day. I am currently at 50 and do not feel much better. Still have the sleepy shakes, much warmer temps at night to where I feel hot(98.7 at 10 p.m. then 97.8 an hour later. ??? I ordered ferrous bisglyconate tonight and will start it when it arrives. Should I back down on my T3 to one and a half until my iron goes up some more or am I just not getting enough T3 based on my freeT3 level? Also how do you all multidose the iron when it has to be taken at least 4 hours before Cytomel? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Guest guest
Your doctor is wrong. Many peopel have thee intolerance symptms and they canWORSEN with more T3 when iron levels are too low. I would contoinue to push in the iron and in a month get iron panel a FULL one not just Ferritin to see where your other levels, are. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Hello, I am new to the group and experience what I call the sleepy shakes.
