Guest guest
Dropping down couldn't hurt you, and it would give you a chance to see if your idea is correct. Then if it is you can stay there and if it isn't you could increase by 5 mcg again. One thing, I would make sure you don't have a cold or some other infection in your system which could be elevating your temps a bit. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! I've been taking 15 mcg for about five days now, and mytemp is higher than it has ever been in the early and late morning (98.5 upon waking and 99.4 at Noon). My tummy is still upset aswell, which I think is turning into my little red flag that perhapsit's too much Cytomel (my tummy was okay on 5 mcg but on both 10 and15 mcg, it's been upset continuously). Could it be that my peak is really 10mcg/day?I'm thinking since my temp is up to 99.4 now, I should NOT take my thirddose of the day and drop back down to 10mcg/day.Thoughts?THANKS,Jen------------------------------------We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Thanks, Roni. Since it's best to ramp up little by little, I just wasn't sure if there was a maximum dosage to ramp down by -- but it appears like 5mcg isn't too much. One more question: How common is it for someone to not be able to tolerate much more than the low dose I'm on? It seems like most in this users group are in much higher ranges than me and I'm just surprised that my body isn't tolerating this so well. It's true my ferritin is only around 50 -- is that low enough that that could be the reason? Guest guest
I think I remember that Val said something like 70 is optimum but 50 is the least it should be up to. In any case if your body is not tolerating the dose, dropping it by 5 will not hurt you since it is so short lived. It can be changed so easily. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge!
