Guest guest
valerie..per our conversation earlier....i found several blood tests of my daughters and some of them had fasting glucose on them....i know they are fasting cause we always fasted before blood work...unless noted over the last couple of years her serum glucose has been 86 (65-99) this was taken at 830 am....this was before implementing very much NT or any t3 meds she had one of 84 taken at 915 am the year before....again she was just starting thyroid treatment here. looks like she had a reading of 99 one time but it was taken later in the day and she was not fasting as was noted on blood work i am wondering if based on this information should i still run out and get a glucose monitor and do these number have the information that would allow you to see an issue with insulin resistance?? should i still get a HA1c or fasting glucose in her blood work tommorrow?/ thanks..dawn
