I don't know if cortisol will be tested in the ones he asked for. If not, I'll have to find out another way. Question: Is there another way to increase cortisol without taking cortisol?

On and off I wak with cramps in my feet. Sometimes the cramps come during the day.

Does anyone have this or know what is could come from? Being cold seems to make it worse.

Well, I'm on 70mcg of T3 now. When these tests come back I'll be able to find out if I need more to help with the swelling. My resting blood pressure this morning was 121/64 with 81 heart rate. The diastolic is usually a bit higher, but normal. I'm still swollen. I'm trying to eat more fruit like water melon, cantaloupe, blueberries, etc. I'm hoping these will help the situation. I just looked up taking down BN naturally and they say licorice. I haven't been able to eat licorice since I was a kid. Also poppy seeds. Well I became allergic to penicillin at 20, and codeine, morphine, calcium channel blockers as an adult. I can't take their beta blockers because of asthma, and have not tried lisinopril (ACE Inhibitor) for similar reasons, so none of these "fixes" look like they would work with me. The diuretics give me afib attacks.

Adrenals have always come out all right. This foot cramping thing is a recent phenomenon, only this year. I think I was so screwed up on the Armour, and then they gave me T4 which made me worse, then I stopped it then finally got the T3. I'm hoping the T3 with maybe more magnesium will help.

Cortisol stimulants do nto work! When we have low cortils it is due to

weak adrneals stimulating them only causes thm to become weaker. Theree

are glandulars the contain some cortils that are useful if the cortils

elvels are nto TOO low.

Many of the afibbers on the groups I belong to have eating related triggers. It seems that

the vagus nerve controls the stomach as well as the heart, and for those of us with this type of atrial fibrillation there are many triggers in this realm.

For me leg and foot cramps mean I need more potassium.

I'm thinking that is a possible cause too. I'm trying to get more of it into me naturally

with food.

Do you have results? You know how it's been with being told we're " normal " with

thyroid tests. Also, testing once is not nearly as good as saliva cortisol

testing which will show results 4x a day.

I was tested more than once, and one of the other extremely knowledgeable people on another group agreed with the results. Thank you so much for your interest. I don't have

any new lab results yet. Still swollen.
