Yuo have gone more hypo than you were. T3 does not reduce potassium.

Thank you, Val -

Why would I go more hypo? I was not hypo at Cytomel 37.5-37.5-37.5. I am still

at that amount plus 1.5 grains NT.

Does something *just* about adding NT make me hypo?

Also, my temps are not low.

Thanks

Thank you Val!

How quickly does the T4 to RT3 conversion happen?

I've only been taking Naturethroid for 2 days.

Is this the only explanation?

I ask because my prior experience (1.5+ years ago) with Armour and Synthroid did

*not* include my current swelling at all.

Thank

Adding -

Could I be hypo if my temps are (too) high?

My 1st 2 Dr Rind temps today: 98.8-99.4

Yesterday, my Dr Rind avg was 98.4.

Also, I lost 1.5 pounds the 1st day adding Naturethroid, and I've maintained

that weight loss for the 2 days - despite the swelling.

Would I have a weight loss if I was going hyper?

Thanks again for all of your help!

Thanks so much for all the responses Val!

Given all the info re my high temps yet hypo symptom of swelling, do you think I

should focus on my prob being (1) hyper or (2) rt3 from NT causing hypo?

My swelling was biggest last night and this morning. And my temps today are way

too high.

Should I reduce something?

Thanks!!!

Thanks Val!

I will reduce the NT. Since I've been at 1.5 grains, would reducing to 1 grain

be sufficient?

Could thyroid BW help to figure out my hyper vs RT3 issue? Is it too soon to

test?

My pulse is a bit high, so maybe it is more likely hyper?

If hyper is my problem, I'm fine to keep continuing on the gradual switch to NT,

right? In 2 weeks, I'll drop 12.5mcg cytomel and add 1 more grain NT...

Thanks again so much!
