Ideally the body monitors and adjusts internal temp, so body temps should not be

too much affected by outside temps. My own temp drops when I'm low on cortisol.

At work where we keep the thermostat around 71F I usually test lower-especially

if I am relaxed doing paperwork, which inclines me to get a little sleepy. My

temp can fall .5F when this happens.

If your system is working well you can cope with a lower ambient

without dropping, if you are " on the edge " then a low ambient can

cause your temperature to drop.

If it drifts slowly down over many hours then a little more T3 may

help. If it can drop over the period of 30 mins or so then it's more

likely to be adrenal and a stress dose may help it
