Guest guest
So what is the solution to this other than death by hypo?! I have to have an idea otherwise the ENDO will say I have to go onto the T4 only and I'm not convinced that is the solution. Thanks, Michele > > FT4 1.35 (0.6-1.61 ng/dL) > > FT3 6.46 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL) > > Rev T3 -32 (11 to 32 ng/dL) > > >
Guest guest
Thanks for this info. So you I continue to take the NDT, just at a lower dose while adding the T3, slowly upping it until I make the switch? I am thyroidless, so need to take something all the time. Thanks for the suggestions! Guest guest
Thanks for the options, the suggestions and experiences. Really appreciate the wisdom! Now if I can just get the docs to listen to me I'll be good! How long do people stay on the T3 only? Forever or not? Thanks, Michele > >>>> > >>>> > >>>>> FT4 1.35 (0.6-1.61 ng/dL) > >>>>> FT3 6.46 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL) > >>>>> Rev T3 -32 (11 to 32 ng/dL) > >>>>> > >>>>> > >>>>> > >>>> > >>>> > >>> > >>> > >>> ------------------------------------ > >>> > >>> We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
HI Roni, thanks been my experience too. I have so many hypo symptoms but all my labs say I should be very hyper! Doctor just won't believe me and they think I just want more thyroid for some stupid reason, like it makes me feel better! So I am trying to equipment myself with all the knowledge I can get and then if need be I will shame them into treating me right with something like... " why are you so determined to believe the lab and not me " or " do you really want me to suffer for the rest of my life? " I think they just don't want to do it because they don't know how they will justify it in their notes. A doctor can't just write... " pt thinks it is a good idea to do this " . That shows maybe they don't know it all after all. Any other ideas from anybody else are most appreciated! thanks, Michele > > My problem with Armour and before that Thyrolar was that the doctors never believed me when I said that I had hypo symptoms. All they were interested in was the TSH. That was always low, so now that I know about RT3, it seems to me this has been going on for at least 50 years. I should get lab results back next week. > > > <>Roni
