Guest guest
FYI, just checked and BP is 112/75, pulse 106. BP is roughly normal, but pulse is usually around 85. Then again, I don't know what my readings would be if I checked when this low on sleep without the extra meds and groggily fuzzy sense of worry. ----- Original Message ----- From: just_me3 Please advise! Guest guest
Thanks Diane, I appreciate your reply and input! I've been really wondering about not dosing until 8pm. I think you're right, but if my body starts signaling me I may need to rethink it. You're also right that HC (and other meds) by alarm and going back to bed is not advisable in usual terms. I worked this schedule out with Val's help 4 years ago, and while it works for me and my unusual issues, I'd not recommend it to anyone else. Thanks again, Liz ----- Original Message ----- From: DianeB Do not take anything more until your 8pm dose. You should not be taking your HC at 8am and going back to bed. This is defeating the whole purpose of your morning dose. I would drink some sea salt water.Diane
Guest guest
I can only suggest what I would do if it was me. If your heart starts acting up, either go to the ER or call 911. Also immediately chew 4 baby aspirins, as per EMT from one of the ambulances that took me to the ER. I wouldn't take anything else in the way of medications or supplements, so as not to confuse things. I do think it's all right to eat, to help slow down absorption. Good luck to you. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Too involved to go into everything here, but this is the gist: I mistakenly took my Noon and 4pm doses (grouped together in Noon slot in pill box) by alarm at 8am. This totaled 50mcg Cytomel and 12.5mg HC. I semi- awoke around 10am not recalling taking meds by alarm, glanced at pill box, saw the 8am doses still in slot and took them. This was 25mcg of Cytomel and 7.5 of HC. As started to drift back to sleep, I questioned how I'd missed the alarm and sat up to check if I'd accidently turned it off the previous morning. Nope. It was then I saw the Noon box empty and realized what I'd done ... I've taken 75mcg of Cytomel and 20mg of HC in the space of roughly 2 hours. I need to go back to sleep, but am thinking this could be very hard on my heart. I'll go to the ER if I must, but I'd much rather go back to sleep for a couple of hours and then take it easy 'til late afternoon while keeping track of my BP - sounds a lot less stressful than being monitored in the ER! Input appreciated! Liz
