You might have cleared, you might be hitting low or high cortisol symptoms as a result! Low cortisol could be a result of pooled T3 being released when receptors clear and using up all available cortisol trying to get into the cells. you might need less T3, you might need less (or more) HC Difficult to know what's right but dropping T3 to 100, checking for temperature stability, and adjusting HC until it's stable before increasing T3 again ought to get you there. With the HC you can try a stress dose, if it's low that will show it. If that doesn't do it try dropping to 35 and seeing how you are Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Nick, I did exactly as you suggested: dropped HC to 30- by accident as I was so tired yesterday that I forgot my 5pm dose, and Cytomel to 100. I seem to be back on track, and will check temps, BP and pulse today. I'm still 10 lbs from goal, but back to my current weight after carrying 3.5 lbs of water for 2 days. Woke up before my alarm this morning and feel much better....so far.. I also have new labs..everything but RT3, which they didn't send in time, so I'll post everything when I get that result. Thanks! > > >Could the combination of physical stress, sugar, alcohol, wheat, lack of sleep have just done in my adrenals, or am I really hitting clearance now, and my T3 dose is too high? my temps today are lower... 97.8 at noon. > > You might have cleared, you might be hitting low or high cortisol > symptoms as a result! > > Low cortisol could be a result of pooled T3 being released when > receptors clear and using up all available cortisol trying to get into > the cells. > > you might need less T3, you might need less (or more) HC > > Difficult to know what's right but dropping T3 to 100, checking for > temperature stability, and adjusting HC until it's stable before > increasing T3 again ought to get you there. > > With the HC you can try a stress dose, if it's low that will show it. > If that doesn't do it try dropping to 35 and seeing how you are > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com > > For lots of good information of adrenal issues > > http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ > > and the adrenal group on > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >
