Thanks again to Val for another great consultation...to all you wasting your

time with docs...please do yourselves a big favor and consult with her. I have

referred several of my friends to her and she is helping them a lot. Based on

the enclosed tests, Val beleives my T3 is pooling in the blood due to low iron

or low cortisol...my question is this...I am only taking 2.5 grains of

NT....according to lots of authorities...most people need 3-5 grains to get

better. Many authorities also think blood tests are worthless...My temps are

still low...basal is at 97...Temps per rind are higher...sometimes averaging

98.6. Would there be any harm in cranking the NT up to 3,4 or 5 grains?? I

feel terrible at present....what would be the risk of taking more thyroid? If

I started going hyper I would know right? I know what that feels like....and

I'll just back it down. Is there a possibility that I just need more thyroid

and should ignore the blood tests?? opinions appreciated!

Test 2 - 6/22/10 - 3 Grains NT

TSH 0.013

FT4 .98 .82 - 1.77

FT3 5.5 2.0 - 4.4

RT3 156 90 - 350

Pregnenolone 88 20 - 150

DHEA Sulfate 159 44 - 331

DHEA 201 31 - 701

The worst risk is your RT3 will climb to even higher heights, BUT it

may not. SOit may be an experiment worth trying.

I 2nd the poster's rec to forget docs and consult with Val! The money is MUCH

better spent and to a much more worthy cause IMO. Not to mention that I actually

am feeling better now, which the docs weren't able to help with!
