Since my ferritin is low, should I stick to the guidelines my Naturopath gave me (stick to 10mcg/day indefinitely). In other words, I'm wondering if because my ferritin is low, if staying at 10mcg/day is the best thing for me to do (anything more than that would be going too fast)? > >Thanks in advance for any input you can provide!! That small a dose is in danger of suppressing your own production a bit while not replacing what it suppresses and could leave you feeling worse. You would be better off ramping up weekly while trying to get the iron up at the same time. There are suggested dosing schedules on the web site, you may need to go a bit slower than that if you are waiting for iron to increase Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
