Guest guest
This may be off topic a little, but not entirely. I have this knot over one of my teeth above the gumline. I'm wondering if this infection, that has been there for a while, could be contributing to my shortness of breath, as well as rt3? The knot developed a pus pocket yesterday. Anyone have any ideas on this? THANKS!
Guest guest
Hi Joan, It sounds like a root infection. When there is an infection it can cause an absess which looks like a bubble up at the gum line of the infected tooth. I would think yes it could be causing shortness of breath because of infection putting strain on adrenals. > > This may be off topic a little, but not entirely. Guest guest
Thanks, Ninaboo.....my husband just got back from the same dentist I go to, and had a tooth pulled. He told dentist about me, and how I had been sick. The dentist said for me to get in right away, and that the infection could be what is causing or aggravating my adrenal and thyroid problems, and he had seen it before. Good to get some verification from one in the med field, even if we don't normally trust many of them, huh? Like he wants to do a root canal, and I refuse to do them. Guest guest
Hi Joan, If the tooth was one you needed to save, I found this link a while back and contacted this dentist to get more info. He recommends calcium hydroxide treatment to kill off all infection. It takes more time and a lot of dentists don't want to do it, but it is supposed to be better. http://www.mgoldmandds.com/rct.htm I bet you will feel better getting rid of the infection. > > > > This may be off topic a little, but not entirely.
