Low ferritin/iron sure was a panic problem for me. When my iron was low, I got

TERROR, panic, anxiety. I could not tolerate enough T3 to get me un-hypo. I

think Val is right, low iron causes adrenal stress and adrenaline.

that we have to get our ferritin up to 70 (?) before going on all T3?

Did the panic go away as your iron went up? I am taking lots of iron but am

having a hard time getting numbers up - every period and blood draw is a

setback. I used to get severe edema trying to take iron, but taking t3 actually

helped me tolerate the iron. So for me it was an inching up process - add a

little t3, then add some iron, etc. etc.

The panic improved a lot when I got my iron up. It is a very slow process

getting iron numbers up. I can't absorb oral iron very well at all, I have to

get Venofer IV iron.

Glad to hear the panic improved! Yes it is a slow process :-( I'm going to try

the bluebonnet that people here are talking about. I have heard of the IV iron

too - might be a next step for me.

Thanks!
