Guest guest
First I would do teo things. Give4 the HC reductions TIME for your body to adjust to it, and seconfd try taking a small HC dose when that feleign hits I suspect that is mroe adrenla thna lwo T3. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > > > >> I took Val's advice and combined my T3 doses into just 5 a day, 4 hours a part. That drove me to reduce my dose to 75 mcg T3 daily due to increased pulse - I've been at 75 mcg for 3 days. During the same time I managed to get my HC back to my baseline dose of 30 mg (Finally down from a week-long stress dose of 50 mg HC due to international travel in mid-June). >> >> This morning about an hour to half an hour before my 9:00 AM dose, I got really drowsy and started nodding off. Does this warrant a T3 increase? Note pulse is a little low at 84 and my baseline seems to be around 90. Temps are within 2 tenths over the last 5 days in the 97.9-98.1 range. >> >> My current dosing is: >> 5 AM - 18.75 mcg T3& 10 mg HC >> 9 AM - 12.5 mcg T3& 10 mg HC >> 1 PM - 12.5 mcg T3& 5 mg HC >> 5 PM - 12.5 mcg T3 >> 9 PM - 18.75 mcg T3& 5 mg HC >> >> How much and where would I increase the T3 if that is indicated? >> >> Thank you so much! >> Peaches_II >> >> > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Val, you're a Godsend! The last dose I reduced was the 7:00 AM stress dose that I had been taking. Your recommendation was to drop that one and the afternoon stress dose by 2.5 mg and that went fine, but when I tried to reduce the rest of that 2.5 mg I started getting shaky at 7:00 AM. I ended up going back up to 5 mg at 7:00 AM. So I reduced the rest of the stress doses and was stuck at 35 mg. I only just got to 30 mg 3 days ago. Should I go back up on the 7:00 AM dose? Or should I just see if the 2.5 mg dose helps when I get drowsy? I would totally get this wrong if I was doing it without you. You are such a blessing to so many people. Thank you.
