Fibroids and polyps inside the uterine cavity can both cause heavy

bleeding. They can also both be removed in an outpatient procedure

called hysteroscopic resection. The doctor uses a tiny camera

inserted into the vagina to see what he/she is doing and is able to

remove the fibroids and/or polyps. Barring any other problems that

are causing the heavy bleeding this usually does the trick. The

catch is that not all docs are skilled in this type of procedure.

Unfortunately those who are not do not seem to refer to more

experienced docs and recommend procedures that they know how to do,

such as hysterectomy.

i do NOT want to have surgery and am more interested in

herbs, vitamins and diet change ... if anywone has info to offer i

would sure appreciate it..
