Guest guest
I would think as long as it si bioidentical and you NEED it ther is no risk. MOst of the risks listen on hormones are for people that abuse them and take more than their body needs. >> >> >> http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >> http://faqhelp.webs.com/ >> >> http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >> http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ >> > I am in my 6th month of T3 only, feeling better but still adjusting meds, etc. > Recently my doctor recomended testosterone cream because labs (below) showed low testosterone. I have also been taking DHEA for quite a while (15 mg) although the labs show it is still quite low. > > I got the testosterone cream a few days ago and started reading the indications that came with it. I read that its use during pregnancy was not recomended because of its teratologic effects. This sounds quite serious and scared me because I am trying to get pregnant... Would it be dangerous to get pregnant while on testorene cream (or DHEA)?? > > testosterone: 0.04 ng/ml (0.3-7) > free testosterone: 0.86 pg/ml (range less than 2.6) > progesterone: 20.49 pg/ml (3.28-38) > estradiol 222.7 pg/ml (31-247) > DHEA-S 1.43 (0.75-4.1) > > > Thanks, > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
I used to have highish testosterone but when I started Armour (before I introduced cortisol even) it plumetted. I don't understand why. DHEA was also highish before Armour. I wonder if there is something I can do to increase testosterone back you my usual levels without supplementing... Many thanks for answering my question! > > I am in my 6th month of T3 only, feeling better but still adjusting meds, etc. > > Recently my doctor recomended testosterone cream because labs (below) showed low testosterone. Guest guest
If I was young again....and trying to get pregnant...the risk of teratologic effects....would scare the **** out of me...and I would definitely NOT take it......because...for me.....if the child was to have been born defective in any way .....I would always feel guilty that maybe that had something to do with it... but then...that's just me ------- Original Message ------- From : T Sent : 7/11/2010 6:19:57 AM To : RT3_T3 Cc : Subject : RE: Re: testosterone and DHEA when trying to get pregnant?
