Could I have an RT3 issue if my labs look good and I convert normally?

Been on thyroid meds for about 18 months, still feel as bad as ever but some

things have resolved for me.

Have tried T4 only, T4 with T3, T4 with Armour and Armour alone (actually Erfa

as was all available).

The only one I get on with at all is T4 only - this mostly resolves my panic

attacks and the worst of my depression, my hair grows well and some of the neuro

problems stop but I am still left with severe numbness and migraines, extreme

fatigue, brain fog and feeling spaced out, weakness etc.

On T4 only my bloods show a decent conversion and when taking 100mcg I have

supressed TSH and T4 and T3 at the top of the range - but feel AWFUL! Extra

dizzy and spaced out, racing pulse in the evenings and some anxiety.

Could RT3 still be the problem? I have to say the brain fog has never gone and

it takes weeks and weeks before I notice any small benefit from the thyroid meds

- I usually have to have someone else point out to me that something is a bit

better, I don't notice the change in myself as I feel so rough all the time.

I did try T3 only for about 8 days but got very nervous I was going to become

hyper and itchy (my sign that something is too much for me) so I stopped it.

Could it still be a possiblity?

Thanks in advance.

Cindy.
