Can someone please recommend what they would do at this point? The bare basics of what I need to get labs for (finances are an issue) and how to handle that I can't seem to get more than a few days temperatures? And does anyone have any suggestions and how I can help my body heal adrenal/thyroid wise after such a hellish flu? An adrenal saliva test will avoid the need for a few days of temperature averaging Minimum tests are FT3, RT3, and an iron panel Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
It can be a bumpy road, all right. Once you get your RT3 test results back, you may have a real insight into what has been keeping you from really getting better. > > Over the past few years I've followed the NT and Adrenal groups suggestions on blood and saliva testing but have had no real break through on my health. I did take HC for 10 months and have been on various forms of NT. To make a long story short I'm back on Armour and am functioning but would like to feel better than where I'm at and am wondering if RT3 might be the culprit. > > I've done my reading, Nick's web site and many, many posts on this group and I've learned a lot and have tried to do the starting steps of temperature testing. BUT I keep getting ill or something happens and then I and have to stop and then re-start. I'm becoming very frustrated. I will get a few days of low but consistent temps and then something will happen, like just a few days ago I came down with a horrible stomach virus. The vomiting has stopped by way of prescribed suppositories but now I have diarrhea (sorry to be so graphic!) and I know that's wrecking havoc on my adrenals and everything else. > > I feel as though I have to start over and it just keeps happening so I seem to not get any where. Guest guest
Thank you to those of you who wrote here and to my email! I'm already gluten free and figure this nasty experience was either food poisoning or viral. The thing that worries me is how hard did it ding my already taxed adrenals/thyroid system. Anyway, I'll get the tests Nick recommended (THANK YOU Nick!) when I get my stomach under control and then check back in. Thank you all again for being here!
