You almost certainly have other resistance as well as that caused by RT3, you sound like me, I got up to 12 grains!! T3 only is the best way for those of us with resistance to go but you need more, 8 grains plus 80 = 152 of T3 PLUS the conversion from T4. This means you have had a reduction going to your starting dose 150 would be your starting dose of T3, the level that you were taking in the natural and the extra you added. From there you will need to ramp up weekly, I hit 250 by week 12 to stop feeling hypo and then had to reduce from there and settled on 125 to start with. Since clearance I have added in more and am doing well plus finally losing weight. As long as pulse and temperature are OK, you can increase every 3 days if you are very hypo, once you clear the hypo you will probably have to go up by 12.5 every week or so to replace the T3 converting from the decaying T4. Be warned, I hit a bump after a week or so, I think the T4 started converting to T3 once it had decayed to a certain level, I had to drop and readjust then, check pulse frequently Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
