Guest guest
I forgot to mention, my last ferritin lab showed 118 (13-150) with iron serum 120 (35-155) and iron saturation 34% (13-150). In case that gives you any needed info. > > I started T3 only on May 18 after my FT3/RT3 ratio came back 6.9. So > this coming week will be 12 weeks since I started. Seems a pretty good place to be then, how do you feel? > My temps have been somewhat erratic: basal from >97.2–98.1, but typically bwtn 97.5-97.7; daily averages usually >98.3–98.9, again not really stable. There is something adrenal going on, looks like you are on the right track later with the electrolytes >I'm due for my yearly physical >in 4 weeks and want to know if I should get my usual thyroid labs (FT4, >FT3, RT3 Thyroid Binding Globulin) or not? FT3 is useful, the FT4 and RT3 should both be virtually zero so if you are paying for labs out of your own pocket don't bother with those. Binding globulin is not one we normally suggest, have you had issues in that area in the past? > I did the salt test after >experiencing pretty constant heart palps, and my pulse came down from >103 to 81. Thanks for all your help!!!!! Unless you feel very hypo leave the T3 alone at the moment. Clearance is either feeling less hypo or going hyper and needing to drop T3 and find a new dose again Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks for replying, Nick. I will answer you up here since I'm not sure how to include my responses within your quotes within my quotes. As for how I feel, I'm pretty good except for heart palps, occasional fatigue (which might also be attributed to a hectic couple of weeks), still low basal temp, and can't lose weight. The lab tests are covered by insurance, but I will delete the Thyroid Binding Globulin—had it done last year and didn't know if I should include it again for comparison. It was 17 (13-39) last time. I did as Val suggested and lowered my T3 to 100mcg/day (as of 8/9) but still have heart palps. Should I stay here or raise back up a bit to continue clearing RT3? Thanks again! > > > > >I started T3 only on May 18 after my FT3/RT3 ratio came back 6.9. So > >this coming week will be 12 weeks since I started.
