Lila,

Sorry I can't help you with the 'reading' of the thermometer. But I am currious

what this thermometer is and where do you get it? I've been looking for glass

mercury thermometers with little luck.

Thank you

Sage

The glass is designed as a little magnifying glass which makes it

easier to read but only if it's in the right place.

If you rotate it slowly you should suddenly see the mercury appear,

the viewing angle is quite small
