Guest guest
No one has a comment?I was told here that taking more than 25mcg at a time wouldn't work or taking more wouldn't last longer. Why do some people need to dose 5-6 times per day while others feel good dosing every 8 hours? Last night I took my last dose(25mcg) at 11:30pm. I've been sleeping in lately and woke at 9:30am. My temp was 96.6 when I woke up. Yesterday it was 98.0. It had been 10 hours between doses. So, how do I know if I need more or if it had just worn off because it had been 10 hours?? I am trying to avoid adding some t4 that my doc wants me to do. From: low_carb_crystal Subject: Who takes more than 25mcg t3 all at once? To: RT3_T3 Date: Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 6:31 PM Does anyone take t3 in just 2 doses? I take 96mcg(25,25,18,25) in 4 doses and would like to take in 2 if that's possible. I feel much better but still ups and downs with t3 only. My temps and pulse look pretty good. Doesn't Dr. Lowe take a big amount all at once in the morning? --maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Guest guest
i WOULD THINK THIS FLUCTUATIN IN TEMPS WOUDL BE MORE INDICATIVBE OF ADNRELA STRESS THAN THYROID RUNNNING OUT. I htink adrenals ahave alot to do with whether you can take more at one time or need ot kepe wiht 4-5 times a day dosing. I CAN take mine twice a dya I just podnt; feel as good thta way so for me, it is just as easy to stay wiht four times a dya. But if I miss a dose I certainyl do nto worry abotu doubling up the next one, which is exactly what I do. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ No one has a comment? Guest guest
I think Val did answer you Crystal. You might want to check. As for me, I take 25mcg upon waking, 25 mcg at 11am, 17.5 at 4pm and 17.5 at bedtime. If I take more than that, at this point, I am afraid it will be too much for my adrenals to handle. I will stay on this schedule for a little while yet. My temps are good and stable but I do not want to rush it. I hope to get to 100mcg BUT I WILL NOT take it even twice a day. I will still take it 4x a day to save my adrenals. It has taken me too long to get this far. It takes patience.VeniziaFrom: low_carb_crystal <low_carb_crystal@ yahoo.com>Subject: Who takes more than 25mcg t3 all at once? To: RT3_T3 (AT) yahoogroups (DOT) comDate: Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 6:31 PM Does anyone take t3 in just 2 doses? Guest guest
Thanks Val and VeniziaPatience I've had. I've been working on this for a very long time. I do feel almost 100% better the past 2 months so I'm happy for that. I took HC for 2 years and felt much better weaning off. I have been off for 4 months now. I keep trying stress doses to see if I'm pooling, but nothing happens. I don't know, I guess I'll have to experiment. From: low_carb_crystal <low_carb_crystal@ yahoo.com>Subject: Who takes more than 25mcg t3 all at once? To: RT3_T3 (AT) yahoogroups (DOT) comDate: Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 6:31 PM Does anyone take t3 in just 2 doses? Guest guest
Just wanted to add. I mentioned that my morning temps was 96.6 10 hours after last dose. Then, it rose to 98.1 two hours after my first t3 dose. It is 1:20pm and now my temp is 98.6. Is this really adrenals? My temps used to drop a degree just being awake. Guest guest
Could be HIGH cortisl which will use up your T3 odses TOO FAST and that can cause you to have ups and downs. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Just wanted to add. I mentioned that my morning temps was 96.6 10 hours after last dose. Then, it rose to 98.1 two hours after my first t3 dose. It is 1:20pm and now my temp is 98.6. Is this really adrenals? My temps used to drop a degree just being awake. For me I don't have enough cortisol to take a big dose, it causes my temperature to drop and me to slump. other people with stronger adrenals can take more at once. Guest guest
Well, that's interesting. I took HC /medrol/ dex plus florinef for 2 years. After I cleared Rt3 in November, my body totally rejected all steroids(including florinef) and I had to wean off. So now I could be making too much cortisol, how odd? I've had weak adrenals since I was a kid. I've started taking ashwagandha recently. Do you think phosphatidyl serine would help? Morning or evening? Some people say it lowers cortisol. My doctor and others say it just helps regulate either way. From: low_carb_crystal <low_carb_crystal@ yahoo.com> Subject: Who takes more than 25mcg t3 all at once? Guest guest
MIne swung high right after weanign HC, btunow seems ot have settled down agian. So it is not impossible. I really thing RT3 takes a HUGE hunk of adrenals to handle it and gettgin rid of it willhelp alot of adrenal people regain adrenal funciton. I would not take PS withotu new salva cortils tests to confirm it is high. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Well, that's interesting.
