Guest guest
Took a lot of seasalt yesterday. The headache became a bit less, but not much. BP went up: 132/84, 143/90 and 132/88 sitting down, 104/79, 126/89 and 124/87 standing up. Pulses were sitting/standing: 71/80, 59/76, 62/76. Temps were normal36.59, 36.54, 36.66 Still feeling the same this morning. Seems like my eyes are backwards in their sockets, looking though mist, verrrrry hard to focus, I'm just NOT THERE. It's something I've experienced so many times before, but since I've started with T3 yestrday, I'm still wondering if it couldn't be thyroid related. Or my adrenals having a hard time keeping up? Not at all questioning yr advise and judgment, Val, just wondering. Anything else I could try besides salt, salt and salt? ;-) Christel > > Hi, > > I've taken my 1st dose of T3 this morning, and by the time I was downstairs, had a trubbing headache over my eyes + back of my skull. Guest guest
I'd just wanted to add to my previous post (which is lost somewhere in limbo):besides the " not there " -feeling, I feel like I ALMOST want to shatter my teeth, I'm really shivering inside (no incontrollable shaking), and I'm feeling really cold (from inside). My head feels numb above the eyes and back of head. Can't take temp now, thermometer is kaputt... (dropped it once too many)Maybe still just hypo symptoms hey?Christel 2010/9/2 T  Thsi sounds liek low sodium. It causes horrendous headaches and the pulse rises to extremes when oyu do anything. Guest guest
I wonder, how long will this condition last? You said, maybe wait it out, but will it eventually straighten out?Today, I even feel worse. Got real nauseaus at 10.30 AM, so I took my noon dose of HC. Guest guest
I, personally found that the feeling of cold from the inside (which is exactly the way I termed it too) dissipated as my T3 dose went up. Guest guest
How much max? And what after 5 PM?Last night, I woke up about avery 2 hrs or so, feeling nauseous. It hardly doesn't make a difference if I take hc or not, nausea, dizzyness stay.Feel like something is clenching my stomach, I'm now not taking the hc capsules but doing only cream, afraid something is wrong with my stomach/oesopaghus again. Maybe the extra salt? I'm still on omeprazole. Intestines are not allright either. Diarrea yesterday, nagging pain today. In short, feeling miserable. I just want to lay down and do nothing, feel so weak and quesy. After feeling poorly for over 15 yrs with ME/CFS, I was prepared to something, but not to this. Feel pretty scared. I want this to work real bad, but I don't know how long I can go on like is.Christel2010/9/4 T  This much nausea points ot a need to raise HC. Guest guest
You can go to three hour dosing 7AM 10mg 10am 7.5mg 1PM 5mg 4PM 5mg 7PM 2.5mg bedtime 2.5mg http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ How much max? And what after 5 PM? Last night, I woke up about avery 2 hrs or so, feeling nauseous. It hardly doesn't make a difference if I take hc or not, nausea, dizzyness stay. Feel like something is clenching my stomach, I'm now not taking the hc capsules but doing only cream, afraid something is wrong with my stomach/oesopaghus again. I want this to work real bad, but I don't know how long I can go on like is. Christel 2010/9/4 T  This much nausea points ot a need to raise HC. If oyu feel nauseaus between doses addin 2.5mg then adn take regular doses as scheduled. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ I wonder, how long will this condition last? You said, maybe wait it out, but will it eventually straighten out? Today, I even feel worse. Got real nauseaus at 10.30 AM, so I took my noon dose of HC. (As I've read in the instructions somewhere, if you feel nauseaus, take yr next dose.) But I'll have to take my 3rd dose (normally 6 PM) soon, because I'm very nauseaus again. SO what do I do later in the day, my last dose is at bedtime? Sorry to be such a nag, but I'm so worried, and you're the only one I can ask advise from (thank heaven for that). For the record: on 10 - 10 - 5 -2.5 HC since yesterday (in stead of 10 - 7.5 - 5 - 2.5) And Cytomel 6.25 twice/day BP and pulse today: sitting: 122/75 - 91, 119/82 -74 standing: 113/87 -84, 112/89 - 85 Am taking lots of seasalt. Christel 2010/9/3 T  If oyu have problems iwht waking int he night say 3-4 AM then I woudl increase the bedtime dose to 5mg, but if not , then raise the noon dose to 10mg/ http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ Thank u , What would u suggest? I'm on 10 - 7.5 - 5- 2.5 now. By mistake, I took 10 instead of 7.5 at noon. can't say I feel any difference. Christel 2010/9/3 T  I would try just raising the HC. Guest guest
I was also put on omeprazole and after a while on it I started to feel awful too. Headache, nausea. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I stopped it. Then the symptoms went away. Maybe you could try stopping the omeparazole and see what happens. If you're having digestion problems, digestive enzymes work wonders. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Guest guest
I also have to say I can't take omeprazole. I get dizzy, headache, nausea, achy all over, disoriented. So they tried me on Protonix instead and the symtoms I had were like a stroke. I was slurring my speech, coudn't lift my arms, in-coherent, could barely move my body, vision changes. So I definitely can't take any of those kinds of medication. Terri Re: shaky after T3? I was also put on omeprazole and after a while on it I started to feel awful too. Headache, nausea.
