Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have high rt3, posted my labwork yesterday, but just a thought that I wanted to run by someone who is more knowledgeable than me. Is it possible to just stop the thyroid meds for a month or so until I break the resistance. I know it sounds stupid even to me, but I just want to know if it is do able or not. My tsh before I started on levoxyl was 4.54 and have been euthroid since strating meds.

Stopping meds won't cause the resistance to break. It will just leave you hypo if you needed them in the first place. The only way that we know is proven for clearing resistance is to stop taking T4 meds and take T3 instead. This takes around 12 weeks.
