1) what is rbc potass and how essential is it? should i do it inSTEAD of reg

potassium, or in ADDITion to it?

A) RBC is what si INSIDE the cells. I htink everyone shoudl runthis test at

least oince when they have or have had adrenal probelms. IT cna be run alone but

i htink both as thye look at differnt things is important.

2) can i do aldo and sodium/pot at same time, if so no salt prior, correct? ...

just wondering bc ive seen you say that you dont have to stop takng salt before

testing sodium, but do befor aldo.

A) Yes oyu should do them all, As the sodium is salt fasting we expect it to nto

be 144-145, btu it stil tells us where your sodium is staying whne oyu hqave had

n salt for 24 hours.

3) how useful is ferritin and transferrin when it comes to iron if i get iron

panel(iron, sat, tibc,uibc)? r they necessary?

A) I amusing mroe the % sat and serum iron amn TIBC or UIBC labs and find they

are way more useful then the others.

4) could being low in vitD prevent T3 optimization? i know i was low before, but

i've been doing about 10,000IU daily.

A) We dontl knwo thta for certain but I suspect it is quite possible.

5) is there a particular Blood glucose monitor you recommend? i would like to

keep track of mine as another way to keep tabs on my cortisol. i was in walmart

looking around for one and the onetouch seemed nice and small, but the strips

are so expensive. is there a cheaper one you like?

A) Get the cheap RelyOn meter from Walmart. It is accurate nd the strips wil

lsave oyu a bundle.

hey, sorry val, just a couple of follow up random questions....

1)what are the desirable pre-ov and post-ov basal temps for a healthy woman?

2)if i want to do another saliva test, do i have to stop licorice root, holy

basil, rhodiola, ashwaghanda, etc. for two weeks prior?
