Guest guest
hi val, im planning to test aldosterone/sodium/potassium this month. and as far as i know my cycle should be starting august 13th, which is a friday, BUT it COULD be a day or two off of that, and there is no way for me to be sure until it comes:/ (it started the 13th of july, the 13th of june, and the 11th of may, the 15th of april, ...so sometimes its a few days off) i need to coordinate a time to take the test with my work, so i just scheduled it for monday, august 16th...thinking it had to be days 1-4 of my cycle. how should i handle this situation?... say i start on that friday, it will be too late to get the test done on that day, and days 2 and 3 are on the weekend... the earliest would be that monday, day 4... would that make the test unreliable? thanks val, just dont want to waste a whole test (and the money that goes into it of course, lol) > > Thyroid: No Thyroid meds 12 hrs before test& should be done in the morning > > • FT3 > > • RT3 > > • FT4 > > > > Diabetes: No sugar/ high glucose foods 48 hrs before test > > • Fasting glucose test > > • HA1c ? > > > > Aldosteron: no salt 48 hts before test > > • Aldosterone – sitting up& by 9am > > • Renin > > • Sodium > > • Potasium RBC > > • Magnesium RBC > > Misc tests > > • Leptin > > • D3 – stop supplementing 5 days before test > > • Ferratin > > • Iron Panel – consisting of > > - % transferring saturation, > > - Iron Binding capacity, > > > > >
