I had been seeing a PA in the Woodland's for the past three years but she too has the pay up front and file your own insurance type set-up. She was very helpful but she still did not know that much about RT3. She was also very expensive, at least I thought so. She treated me for the adrenal fatigue, my hormones and my thyroid. She never really agreed with what I was doing but she did allow me to do the things that Val suggested and she was my way of getting a script for my cytomel and HC. Of course she didn't realize I was following Val's protocol. I think she would have shut me down if she knew what i was up to. I have finally resorted to self treatment like many in Val's group. My only problem is getting the lab testing done now since I have no Dr. I have been going to a Dr. in College Station for the past couple of months for my hormones. He has been very helpful and I think he will allow me to test my thyroid through my insurance when it's time to retest. What area of Houston do you live?? If you are just interested in someone as I described above I could give you her name. If not what you are looking for then no problem. There are a few others in the Woodlands that I have heard others talk about. I could give you there names as well. Maybe a phone to check it out. Katy is a good hour or more away from me. The Houston area is so vast that many places can take at least an hour to drive. As I said I've seen a couple of docs in the Woodland's area but none of them understand the RT3 situation. I'm driving to College Station as it is now. Does she prescribe Bio-Identical hormones as well?
