Guest guest
Basically we test and support adrenlas FIRSt then watch electrolytes and other adrenal markers 2hile safely adn slowly ramping the T3 up to a good dose wihtout being excessive, then hold till we reach the 12-14 weeks point, then adjust by temps and pulse ot NORMAL levels rather than repeatedly going hyperthyroid which stresses every system in the body till RT3 clears. We have found it is not necessary to ramp T3 too fast nor too high to clear the Rt3 but it is more a time thing, as it takes time after the T3 supresses T4 and thus new formaiton of RT3 before it clears. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ > Can you describe the difference between 's protocal and this group's suggestion? I am waiting to get copies of my lab work to post, but I do know I have low cortisol (which I think is the biggest of my problems) and my adrenals are weak. I am on NO medication other than vitamins (200 mg B-complex, rhodiola, 200 mg CoQ-10, large dose multi, tyrosine, and 5-HTP). > > I know that my new doctor is going to suggest 's Temperature Syndrome (she has already determined that she thinks that's my problem and has me taking 3 weeks of temps and returning to office to get lab results). She is a supporter of the Protocol, so I need to know what to suggest to her instead. I have read on your site that your suggested protocal is easier on the adrenals so I want to do it your way instead, just don't know the difference or what to tell my doctor (who is an integrative medicine doc), > > AND, do I want to get on anything for the low cortisol? is it possible that JUST my low cortisol is the problem? I have all the 's symptoms (or hypo symptoms) except maybe 3 of them, and my temps range daily from 97.2 to 98.5... occassionaly a temp in the upper 96 region. Could I do OK just fixing the cortisol? And any other vitamin suggestions to augment? > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
