Guest guest
To find more articles to take to your doc on the uselessness of the TSH test alone in determining thyroid health....in addition to the info at the STTM site here is a link from Shamon's blog: http://thyroid.about.com/b/2008/08/14/the-thyroid-tsh-reference-range-why-the-so-called-experts-are-still-totally-confused.htm at the bottom of the article she has a bunch of other links. But here are some more I found while googling: http://misslizzy.me/unreliable-tsh-levels/ http://www.buzzle.com/articles/low-tsh-levels.html http://thyroid.about.com/b/2010/01/28/today-show-thyroid-awareness.htm Remember! You can find other links to doctors who support this view as well by googling. Remember! Dolls are people, too....have you hugged your dolls today? But I feel bad when I forget my dose just once. Many of you said that TSH doesn't mean anything but is there any med reference that I can take in that says that. He's the old line by the book doctor and he's messed with me before on my bio-indentical hormone prescription. Thanks,Pam>> Why don't you just wait until your nurse practitioner comes back from > vacation? Guest guest
Thank you for your references. What makes me crazy is that these doctors are treating thousands of people, and a good part of them they are treating wrong. This only keeps people sick. If they think enough of staying in medicine, why don't they think enough of educatiing themselves about what their patients are experiencing? <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Guest guest
The way I think my doctor realized what was going on was when I asked him 1- What is TSH? 2 - Where in the body is it made? 3 - When does your body call for the TSH? 4- When you have enough T3 in your system, does the body have a need to call for TSH? <>Roni Immortality exists!
