Guest guest
Low sodium causes oyu to pee more. Low potassium causes you to pee less. To opee THAT much you must drink an unGodly amoutn of liquids. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ When I pee more, and more often, like today in just 3 hours after awakening I have peed 1000 ml already - Is that from drinking less salt or having low potassium? How does it work? I def feel I pee more today than yesterday. Keep in mind, I peed maybe 1000 ml at my first "morning pee" when I woke up the first time. This urine is not to be collected. THEN I started collecting. And I peed three times in three hours, total at least 1000 ml (1 liter) urine thus far. So, the thing is. I am collecting urine for a 24 hour urine sample and I haven't had any sea salt today. I am not sure but I feel my pulse might be up a little. - Does this mean salt fasting for my aldosterone in urine 24 hrs sample is not possible to do safely? Worried about hyponatremia of course, and swelling of my brain if it suddenly gets no salt, when it's used to getting salt. I have these fears after reading scientific articles about these subjects. Still trying to figure out why my face keeps swelling. It grew bigger when I went down 1/2 grain on my ERFA Thyroid dose. One question about that: Would my face grow from being more Hypo all the sudden (can it happen in just a few days?) OR would it be excess cortisol symptoms from suddenly having less T3 in me, thus leaving my HC dose "bigger" than it was, even if it's the same dose. Guest guest
I drink about 2000 ml of water daily, approx. Plus what I get in vegetables, fruits etc.I started my day with 1 glass of water, and drank another one an hour later. Ok, so maybe I pee more now cause I have low sodium. Why was my sodium so high, one point above the top range, when I did the fasting electrolytes last week then? I drank one glass of plain water that morning only. Doesn't make any sense to me. I've had lowish (137-138) Sodium when testing it non-fasting, after 1/2 tea spoon sea salt daily intake, in the past few months. So why the high sodium on the fasting electrolyte test? Lab-error?I would like to figure out the "thing" with my electrolytes. Any advice, ? What to do next? Last time I tested Aldosterone, it looked fine at mid-range, in 24 hr urine. This was 3 months ago.And maybe I need to test potassium fasting again. I don't wanna start potassium supps before I know for sure it's really low. Maybe an RBC potassium would be good now? Guest guest
Pay close attention ot what oyu eat the week prior to testign electrolytes. Salt is hidden in many foods, lunch meats, prepared foods, and chips and nuts are some of the ones i cna thinkof, oh, and olives and pickels too. But yeah the ONE high one I would look ot lab error as it is out of normal for you. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ I drink about 2000 ml of water daily, approx.
