Guest guest
Hi mcgragor, I take it your male doing testosterone shots do you do them every week and if so how much. I have been on TRT over 29 yrs and I am a mod. for this at Yahoo's Hypogonadism2 forum. The only time going on TRT will have a bad effect on Adrenals is if your doing very high dose's in your shots. Dr.'s like to put men on them every 2 to 3 weeks doing 200 to 300 mgs in each shot. This is a very big shot that puts you on a roller coaster ride up after the shot only to fall back down very low by the next one this is very old and dose not work for most men. Men today start with 100 mgs every week they need to try to get there Total Testosterone levels up onto the upper 1/3 of there labs range and to keep there Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml. This work up or down on the dose from there going by how you feel. I don't do well taking my 30 mgs of HC /day with adding licorice let alone adrenal support glands some of them have adrenaline in them and make me feel worse. I have yet to see doing the right dose of TRT to have an effect on Adrenal or Thyroid but being on TRT can being up ones Estradiol levels and this will mess with Thyroid. As for low Thyroid stressing Adrenals the thyroid is the engine that runs the body when it's not working right it can mess up everything. Here is a good link to read about low testosterone. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Phil > > Subject: SHBG testosterone/T3 questions > To: RT3_T3 > Date: Saturday, July 31, 2010, 9:20 PM > I'm confused on the SHBG and > T3/testosterone. Guest guest
I think maybe he is giving me too much. They are weekly shots because he said the same thing about every two weeks being too far apart. He started me at .5 is that 5ml? I am now at .7. I go see him in a few weeks and he said he would check for estrogen levels etc? What about SHBG? My libido isn't as high as it was before starting TRT so something has happened. > > > From: mcgragor > > Subject: SHBG testosterone/T3 questions > > To: RT3_T3 > > Date: Saturday, July 31, 2010, 9:20 PM > > I'm confused on the SHBG and > > T3/testosterone. Guest guest
Thanks Phil, my dr. will let me do my own shots, but I chose to have them do it for now. I was going to ask him about dosing twice a week as well. When you say blood getting thick do you mean from iron/ferritin? or something else? I already have high normal iron and ferritin. Do you need more T3 while ramping up on testosterone? Can you post a link to your site on TRT? > > > > > > > From: mcgragor > > > > Subject: SHBG testosterone/T3 questions > > > > To: RT3_T3 > > > > Date: Saturday, July 31, 2010, 9:20 PM > > > > I'm confused on the SHBG and > > > > T3/testosterone.
