Guest guest
I was reading a book by Lee Vliet on hormones called " It's my Ovaries, Stupid " and she freaked me out a little about going up on my t3. I have RT3 and I have been on cytomel for about four weeks and have been following your protocol with no adverse effects. In her book, vliets said that if you are low on estradiol and taking high does of T3, you can get " lethal heart rhythm disturbances, dangerously high blood pressure, severe anxiety and sudden death. " Needless to say, I panicked. I believe my hormones are off, particularly my estradiol. My doctor has been running tests piecemeal and she has not done estradiol. I'm getting ready to leave on a three-week trip overseas and am reluctant to stop my T3 and want to continue increasing it so I can get rid of RT3, but now I'm nervous. Any thoughts?
