Guest guest
Please advise! Too involved to go into everything here, but this is the gist: I mistakenly took my Noon and 4pm doses (grouped together in Noon slot in pill box) by alarm at 8am. This totaled 50mcg Cytomel and 12.5mg HC. I semi- awoke around 10am not recalling taking meds by alarm, glanced at pill box, saw the 8am doses still in slot and took them. This was 25mcg of Cytomel and 7.5 of HC. As started to drift back to sleep, I questioned how I'd missed the alarm and sat up to check if I'd accidently turned it off the previous morning. Nope. It was then I saw the Noon box empty and realized what I'd done ... I've taken 75mcg of Cytomel and 20mg of HC in the space of roughly 2 hours. I need to go back to sleep, but am thinking this could be very hard on my heart. I'll go to the ER if I must, but I'd much rather go back to sleep for a couple of hours and then take it easy 'til late afternoon while keeping track of my BP - sounds a lot less stressful than being monitored in the ER! Input appreciated! Liz
