T3/Adrenal Replacement Doctors Endocrinologist needed asap

Does anyone have any information of a doctor in the NEW YORK area (as close to

Hyde Park as possible) that I could consult with regarding T3/Adrenal Hormone

replacement as I cant do this alone anymore.

If no one in that area is there any doctor that can help me remotely or I will

travel anywhere

I also have neurological Lyme Disease and see a doctor in Hyde Park New York so

need someone close to him.

I hope someone can recommend someone as I really can not get this T3/Cortisol

right and I have been trying for years

Have you tried doing a phone consult with Val and relying on her as your mentor

instead of some doctor who won't know half what she does??

I have personally tried: Dr Rind, Dr Lowe, Holtorf doctors, local anti-aging

docs. Not ONE of them could get the thyroid/adrenal thing right. You know who

helped me the most? VAL in consults and these groups.

It is very possible it is the Lyme preventing you from getting this right. I had

reactivated EBV and that set me back 2 years. So perhaps that is more the issue?

I'm sorry I can't recommend a doctor, but if I find a possible one, I do " weed

out " any who are ignorant on RT3, I'm not wasting time or money on them. Here's

a letter I sent to one. If I wasn't sending a letter, I would at least call

before I went, to make sure I wasn't paying good money for an appointment with a

RT3-incompetent jackass.

Dear Dr. : I have an appointment scheduled with you on Sept. 28 for chronic

fatigue/fibromyalgia, which I have been fighting for many years. I am hoping

very much this appointment will be a productive one. This is why I am writing.

When I started on Armour thyroid in 2007, the results were fantastic. I felt 20

years younger. I lost 3 pounds a week with no change in diet. My energy and

ability to be more active were tremendously improved. This lasted for nine

weeks, when Armour stopped working, and further increases in dosage become

ineffective. I continued to take Armour anyway, and have since gotten more

exhausted, sicker, and 40 pounds fatter. I have been looking ever since for why

Armour stopped working. Given this experience, I feel very strongly that my

fundamental medical problem is thyroid-based. The more research I do on Reverse

T3, the more I think this may be a real problem for me. Not all doctors are in

agreement about Reverse T3, so I am writing to ask if you treat Reverse T3

problems. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, I'm sure I'll get that at my

appointment, I am writing to ask if Reverse T3 problems are recognized, tested

for, and treated at your practice.

Does he or she need to take insurance? Would you be open to a doctor that you

consult by phone from another state? If so, I have had good luck with this

doctor
