Guest guest
Your labs numbers don't really look low to me. Your symptoms might possibly be coming from somewhere else like adrenals, pituitary or firbromyalgia. What are your symptoms? <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Just because something isn't seen doesn't mean it's not there<> Subject: First T3 dose. To: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, July 5, 2010, 11:39 PM Just tried 6.25mcg of Cynomel for the first time today and got a pretty big reaction. Hot sensation in my chest, pulse quickened for about 5 minutes then normalized. Got a bit wired in the brain as well. Then about 30mins later i started getting a bit cold kind of like the hot/cold feeling u get when u have the flu. Any thoughts? Not on any thyroid prior my labs were FT3 5.3 (3.5-6.5) FT4 18.1 (10-19) TSH 2.2 Ferritin - optimal, Vitamin D - optimal, Cortisol - top end blood, optimal urine, bit low in saliva, tried HC got worse, so cortisol is not a huge problem either.FT3/RT3 Ratio - 10.4Based on this ratio and my plethora of hypo symptoms along with reasonably low T3 in urine and TSH over 2 i know i am hypo. I just need to know why i had a pretty big reaction to only 6.25mcg today.------------------------------------We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
It's not adrenals ACTH perfect, not pituitary CT fine, and i don't have pain. My RT3 ratio is pretty low mate. 10 is half of what we aim for. Symptoms are Brain Fog, Cold sensitivity, Inability to sweat, Depression, IBS, Sinus infections etc. It's well established that i am hypothyroid. I am moderately thyroid resistant. With a higher than normal TSH compared to my free thyroid levels in the blood. I am curious as to the explanation behind the reaction. > > > From: todd_cummins > Subject: First T3 dose. > To: RT3_T3 > Date: Monday, July 5, 2010, 11:39 PM > > > Just tried 6.25mcg of Cynomel for the first time today and got a pretty big reaction. Guest guest
Yeah Val i have, My Ferritin was 193 (20-300).. can't remember the rest but nothing else stood out. I am pretty unique considering my labs.. whether it is a more severe form of resistance i'm not sure. But what i do know from my symptoms and Rt3 ratio + urine results is that i have been hypo most of my life undiagnosed. I just need to get this right. I have been taking Vitamin D and 10mg of DHEA which has made me feel a bit better the last few weeks. But obviously i'm still pretty hypo. > > Just tried 6.25mcg of Cynomel for the first time today and got a pretty big reaction.
