Guest guest
Thanks Val, This is SUCH good news, as it now gives me much more confidence in the safety and efficacy of T3 for my overly-sensitive body. Since you have also suffered from scary heart issues, I am sure you can relate to the fear I have when thyroid meds seem to set off such a bad heart reaction I end up in the ER. Doctors have been ADAMANT that I need to stay away from T3 meds and have filled me with such scare stories of what could happen to my heart. So this good reaction i am having with temps raising on just the low dose Cytomel tells me it is getting into my cells as needed without having any bad heart reactions so far! I trust your, Nick's, and Margery's feedback more than these scare docs. So many warm thanks, kate > > > >> > >> I am trying to ease into T3 instead of going straight from Synthroid to T3 because I am a HUGE chicken-wimp, and because I have scary heart issues. > >> > >> So I felt positive and more confidant about using T3 for the first time this week as my temps are really going up even with the mix of synthroid---stayed 98.6 most of the day today, and I never usually ever even get into the 98s.
